I have three sections of 9th graders in my Human Geography course, as well as two sections of Juniors and Seniors in my Gender Studies course, and a Senior section of Gender Studies 2. Our school is located on the south side of Chicago and is part of Chicago Public Schools. Our school's demographics are 73% low income and 87% African American with a college enrollment of 73%. As a school community, we are effectively preparing students for college and working everyday to create an environment that is worthy of our incredible students.

About my class
