  Thank you for your generous donation of new graphic novels for our school library! These are the favorite genre of our students and I can’t keep them on the shelves.   I want to take the opportunity to thank you for your generousity. Our school received a wonderful collection of new books to check out and enjoy. Graphic novels are the most popular genre of books checked-out of our school library each week. Both reluctant and avid readers enjoy the opportunity to read and/or story walk through these stories. Studies have shown that the more kids read (any kind of book, magazine, etc.), the stronger the reader they will become. Your kindness has helped to support that positive growth. Thank you so much. These books will be treasured for many years at our school.”

  WOW! My library looks so beautiful! I am so excited for the improvement that your donation provided. It's bright, warm, welcoming yet calm. When student work gets hung up it will showcase it in the nicest way.

  I have received so many compliments from staff, students and families when they walk into the library how much they like what I've done with it. It warms my heart that our library is such a wonderful space to learn in.

  This glow up was just what the library needed. Our building is 100 years old next year so it often shows it's age, but I feel like the new decor you provided enhances the older details rather than making it feel older. Thank you for helping to make my vision a reality!”

• Biography Bonanza!

  Thank you for the wonderful new biography books for our school library. It is so important for students to learn about a diverse collection of people who they can look up to and learn from. These books will be wonderful additions to the biography section of our library. The students were already so excited to see these new books when they arrived. I can't wait to get the books cataloged and in our library system so they can begin to learn from them and enjoy them. I know without a doubt they will be enjoyed for years to come! Thank you!!”

• Kickstart Summer Reading!

  I can't believe how quickly this project was funded! My students' eyes lit up when they saw the new books on my desk and they couldn't wait to get the opportunity to check them out before summer. That is what being a librarian is all about. Instilling a lifelong love of reading and keeping kids motivated and excited to read is my absolute favorite part of the job. Getting them hooked on different series and then seeing them keep coming back to get the next book is so fulfilling! These books will be loved for years to come. Thank you!”

• Safe and Sturdy Library Carts!

  Thank you so much for the purchase of the new and improved library carts for our library/makerspace. These carts are so much sturdier than our previous versions and I can now have peace of mind that my students are safe around them when they need to get supplies or books from them. They also look pretty sharp too!

  It is important in an elementary library to allow students access to what they need. It helps to build independence and create autonomy. I'm so excited that students will be able to utilize these carts for years to come. Thank you!”

• Delightfully Diverse Books!

  One of my professional goals as a school librarian is to build a community of lifelong readers. Kids are motivated when the books they read have characters just like them. It allows them to relate to the book they are reading in an authentic way. By providing our school library with this collection of diverse books, my library is one step more inclusive, welcoming and relevant. There is nothing better then seeing children's eyes light up when they make a connection to a story. Thank you so much for your generosity to make that happen.”

• New Nonfiction!

  I am so excited to add these beautiful new nonfiction books to our library collection. They are so beautiful and colorful and the kids are going to have the opportunity to learn about different topics in new and engaging ways through these new texts. I have over 230 students who visit my library each week. These new nonfiction books allow my students greater access to the topics they are interested in. Thank you for your continued support of our school and our library. These books are certainly going to be enjoyed for many years to come.”
