  • Charging Up in Math

    Funded Dec 19, 2024

It is with great gratitude that I send this message to you on behalf of myself and my 7th grade classes. Due to your generosity, my students will be able to use their ChromeBooks without worrying about losing charge each and every day. These chargers and organizers will help create a ChromeBook station in the back of the classroom that students can access whenever they need. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Maguire

  • Utilizing Technology in the Classroom

    Funded Jan 19, 2022

Thank you for your extremely generous donation to my classroom. My students are able to use a variety of materials to learn because of your commitment to help supply equipment to the classroom. The mice and chargers are used daily to help students complete assignments on their ChromeBooks. The extension cords help to maintain control in the class, as students have access to chargers no matter where they sit. Without these supplies, students would struggle with unnecessary hardships like broken trackpads and dead computer batteries. Thank you so much for your donation!”

  • Help Keep Us Safe in School

    Funded Oct 22, 2020

It is with incredible gratitude that I write this letter to you today. Your incredibly generous donation helped to contribute to the health and safety of over 120 students and 5 teachers in my school.

In this unprecedented year, we have been switching back and forth to a remote and in-person model depending on the COVID numbers in our district. When we are in-person, the need for cleaning and safety supplies is huge. The materials purchased with your donation has help alleviate the stress on students to bring in their own cleaning and safety supplies.

Students in my district are asked to bring in their own masks and gloves. As we are a low income, Title 1 district, many students are using the same disposable mask day after day. The masks that were purchased with your donation are not only keeping students physically safe but are helping them emotionally as they know they have a clean mask to wear each day.

Again, thank you so much for your contribution to my class!”

  • Adapting to the Changing World of Education

    Funded Aug 11, 2020

This year has been more than unprecedented for my students. In a low income, urban district, access to technology is more vital than ever. Having to go full remote last spring with no advance notice caused a ripple of negative effects to my students. This year has been better, but is far from as effective as a full in-school model would be. Here's where your generosity comes in.

The computers that were purchased with your donation have been used by my students both from home and in school depending on which method of learning their families chose. These students now have reliable access to not only their curriculum and assignments but a direct line to me though Zoom. Without your help, these students would risk falling even further behind through no fault of their own.

Thank you so much for giving to my project and helping numerous students continue learning through these tough times!!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Maguire

  • Supplies Needed!

    Funded Oct 24, 2019

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generous donation to my classroom. My students are from a low income community and often have difficulties acquiring basic classroom materials. Your contribution has given students the opportunity to learn without worrying about buying materials like pencils, markers, colored pencils and sheet protectors. Without amazing donors like you, students would be stressing out over being unprepared for class inhibiting their learning. Your generosity is appreciated on so many levels.”

  • Basic Supplies for Not-So Basic Students

    Funded May 13, 2019

I want to reach out again and thank you so much for your donation to my classroom. Through your generosity, students in a low income school will have resources that are so often taken for granted. Supplies like pencils, pens, and lined paper are things that my students are often not able to acquire for themselves. Through your generosity these students will be prepared and better able to learn.

When my students saw the boxes of supplies, they were excited to open and see what was donated to the class. They jumped at the opportunity to open the boxes and store the much needed supplies in their correct places in the classroom. Seeing the faces of 7th and 8th graders when opening new packages was thrilling. It is with great appreciation to your generosity that I was able to see teenagers' faces light up the way they did.

The supplies that you have sent us will be used to learn and explore mathematical concepts throughout the 2019-2020 school year. Students will take notes, plan and work using the supplies that your donation has supplied to us. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Maguire

  • School Supply Challenge

    Funded Sep 6, 2018

It is with immense gratitude that I thank you for your contribution to my School Supply Challenge project. My students often do not have the means to obtain even the simplest school supplies such as pencils and pens. Your support towards this project will help over 120 low income 7th and 8th graders this year.

Students will use the colored pencils and pens to take detailed notes, complete projects and experience more hands on learning throughout the year. The traditional pencils are always needed in order to complete quality math work in and out of the classroom. Without the generosity of contributors like you, we wouldn't be able to give these students access to materials they need to become better learners!

Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

  • Keeping Materials New

    Funded May 8, 2018

It is with immense appreciation and gratitude that I send this letter. My classroom will greatly benefit from the generous donation you made to it. The materials that you helped to purchase will go towards keeping classroom supplies in new condition for years to come. Not only my current students, but all future students thank you form the bottom of our hearts. The tablet covers will ensure that the chance of breaking them will go down significantly. The cleaning supplies will help us create quality work without the distraction that everyday use can cause like smudges and scrapes.

Again, thank you so much for your generosity!”

  • Connect to Our Future

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

It is with unbelievable appreciation that I write this letter to you. Your incredible generosity has flooded thousands of classrooms with much needed materials and opportunities. You have impacted so many students with your donation, more than you can ever know!

The tablets that you have donated to my classroom will be used on a daily basis to connect students to math in their everyday lives. They will be able to discover, create and present their knowledge in a much more modern way than before this addition to the classroom. Because of you, my students will be better prepared for any future endeavor.

Thank you from the bottom on my heart!”

  • Help Us Hear Our Future!

    Funded Jan 11, 2018

It is with incredible appreciation that I write this letter to you. Your generosity has impacted over one hundred twenty students this year alone. The headphones are used on a daily basis to encourage students to connect what they are learning to real world applications. Students watch videos, take notes and create projects using the materials your donation has provided. The classroom has a buzz of productive activity that truly proves the incredible amount of learning that is being done. Without generous people like you, the motivation that my students have wouldn't be possible.

    Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Maguire

My school is in a low income neighborhood of a large city. My students all qualify for free or reduced lunch under Title 1. The students in my school are very motivated yet have limited basic skills. To help them grow in math, they need to connect concepts to the real world. While they have limited experiences such as travel, they are desperate to see what life is like out of their city.
