Our school is a "Leader In Me," school where students are growing each day to become leaders. Students take a wide range of leadership roles throughout the school including sweeping up after lunch, managing a recycling program, and working together to meet challenges in the classroom. As a result, our school is beautiful, the children are wise, courteous, respectful, and eager to start each new day. They embrace and approach each new topic with immediate questioning of their own. We are a rural school with somewhat limited resources, but an extremely active PTA. Many of our students lack basic school supplies which are often provided by the PTA or community donors. We have science kits to use in the classroom, a leveled book room that we all share, and we use many online resources for math.
