• iPads for ELL's

  iPads provide ENL students with personalized and engaging learning experiences that help them develop their language skills in meaningful ways. With translation tools, speech-to-text functions, and interactive apps, students can access content in both English and their home language, making comprehension easier. Visual and audio support in many educational apps allows students to engage with texts at their own pace, reinforcing vocabulary and grammar concepts. Additionally, iPads promote independent learning by offering adaptive programs that adjust to each student's proficiency level, helping them build confidence and fluency over time.

  What excites students most about using iPads is the interactive nature of the technology, which transforms learning into an engaging experience. Many students, especially those who were initially hesitant to participate in class discussions, have warmed to the idea of using voice-recording apps to practice their pronunciation without the pressure of speaking in front of peers. Others have shown enthusiasm for digital storytelling tools, creating multimedia projects that showcase their creativity while strengthening their writing and speaking skills. The ability to collaborate with classmates through shared documents and interactive lessons has also made learning more dynamic, encouraging students to take an active role in their education.”

• Mice for Students

  I could not thank you all enough for your generosity! My students were ecstatic about their new computer mice. These mice made it so much easier for my students to navigate through their assignments without getting frustrated. I gave each student their own mouse to keep in the classroom so that now during covid, they do not have to worry about sharing their mouse and spreading germs. The small mouse pad that is built into the laptops can be difficult to use when you are a laptop all day long. These mice could not have come at a better time. My ENL students are so grateful and happy! Thank you for donating to my project!”

  Your generous donations are greatly appreciated! I plan on using this computer to work with students that complete their classwork before the other students. I am very grateful you decided to fund my project, you are giving my students the opportunity to learn about computers (for those students who do not have a computer at home) and to learn about the different math websites they are able to use to practice their math skills.

  Many students in my classes are not able to afford computers and I felt that having a computer in my classroom will benefit both the students and myself because they will look forward to coming to class and practicing math on the laptop. I knew I would not be able to afford to buy a computer for my room so when I found this website and saw that people can donate to my classroom I was ecstatic. But now that my project has been fully funded thanks to your donations, I do not know what to say, I couldn't be more thankful for your generosity! Thank you!”
