I am blessed to teach and educate exceptional scholars who are from various backgrounds, ethnic groups, and socio-economic statues, primarily inner-city youth and teenagers. Even though these scholars are challenged daily due to circumstances beyond their control, they strive to excel academically and socially in the classroom. Their persistency to learn and change the negative narrative that inner-city students are not capable of learning and graduating to become productive citizens and residents of their communities. So, we sincerely appreciate anything you are are able to donate and/or assist my scholars with on their educational journey to greatness. There are various items needed throughout the school year such as the essentials like writing paper, pens, pencils, color pencils. Nevertheless, our greatest need are 50 laptops with headphones for their online technology programs (i.e., I-ready and Reading 180)
