The Organized Reader's "Diary" Project!
Funded Nov 28, 2023Thank you so much for contributing to our classroom needs. We are always looking for ways to encourage reading with students. These books will help them develop their reading skills and get fully engaged in learning. Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Dork Diary series are graphic novels. Students feel like they are reading a comic book and most of these books can be read in just a few days for students. We also have a new area of the classroom to keep everything organized for reading and writing when it comes to book reports. Thank you again for contributing to our classroom needs!”

Funded Mar 31, 2023Thank you so much for contributing to this project! My students were thrilled to get a refresh supply of pencils that they absolutely needed!
The chair stools are great for flex seating around the classroom. They are colorful and so easy to use. They are also very lightweight and are super safe in the classroom.
Having the support of our neighbors and community is why I can continue doing what I love. Thank you so much for everything that you do to support public education!
I will continue to do my best as a teacher!”

Rugs for Peace
Funded Nov 29, 2022Thank you so much for donating to our classroom. We were able to receive a beautiful new rug for our classroom. This rug replaces a very old and worn rug that was designed for younger elementary students.
The students were so excited to see the new rug. They love the colors, and it really helps them calm down. Students love to use the rug as a safe and quiet place to do their work when they need a break from their regular seats!
Thank you so much for all your contributions to this project. You have no idea how much your donation impacts my students and how it creates a calming environment for learning!”

Funded Nov 19, 2014My students love having a color printer in class. We have been using it to print out things that just make learning better with color. They love getting color copies of handouts that show differences in pictures vs. just black and white.
We are using the printer to print out signs for the classroom, awards we have received and primarily using it for printing out visual aids for students to glue into their notebooks for science and language arts. In the future we will be using the printer for printing out various reports and projects as we finish out state testing and have more time for creative endeavors.
Student learning and my teaching have been boosted positively. Students are excited when using color printouts. I enjoy getting to share nice looking pictures of various school activities with them in color. Science especially has benefited from having color printouts.”
