It Takes Courage! Hello Everyone, I teach English as a Second Language and the students come from many countries and walks of life and they know first hand what it takes to have courage in life. I would like to encourage you all to help me make connections to real life by supporting our trip to Jewish Community Center to participate in the Butterfly Project. The Butterfly Project is a 2 and a half hour workshop designed to combat prejudice and stereotyping by using the story of the Holocaust. The students will listen to a survivors story, discuss it and paint a ceramic butterfly to memorialize a specific child that will be discussed during the workshop. Thanks in advance for your support!
