My students consist of the 5th grade student body, in which I teach them science. We are a small elementary school with a little more than 500 students, in which ever student (in the school and county) is able to eat breakfast and lunch free of charge. Our staff and students are one big family, if we see a need we make a way for it to happen. Whether that is providing winter jackets, food, or assistance in making sure our student who lack support are given opportunities to work on their homework before they go home that night. My students are very active and full of questions, as well as, they seem to thrive on conversations about the topic at hand and current issues in the world today. They seem to glow with excitement whenever they can experience learning through the use of technology.
