• Hooray for September

  Thank you so much for your wonderful donation! As a fifth grade teacher I am finding myself always running low on supplies such as pencils, crayons, Markers etc. and it's so nice to have them at hand so the students can enjoy them.

  The diary of a wimpy kid books are their favorite and I was able to add them to my library using the beautiful book bins that were donated. The students were so excited to have brand new copies to read!

  Thanks to you we have some great supplies, brand new books and a wonderful library to enjoy them in! I cannot thank you enough!”

• Brand New Books!

  Thank you so much for your generous donation. My students were so excited to receive their favorite book series...Harry Potter, Goosebumps, Dork Diaries, Wimpy Kid books and Harry Potter!

  As a teacher of 2 classes, 50 students in total, We go through a lot of wear and tear of books. They can get very pricey...and the opportunity to have a platform such as donors choose to help replenish my library is a blessing.

  Since we have received the books, we made a "special library" with all of the new books, and I can't keep them off the shelves! I hope the smiles that you put on my students' faces also puts a smile on your face!”

• Brand New Books!

  I would like to express my continued gratitude to all of you. The students were so excited to read the books, I couldn't keep them on the shelves!

  My students do book clubs on a weekly basis and this has made them even more excited to work with their peers and discuss high interest books on their level. Books like Goosebumps, Wimpy Kid, Captain Underpants and Dork Diaries keep them interested and motivated. This is so important, especially since many of them missed the opportunity to have in person learning for over a year.

• Welcome to the Jungle!

  Thank you so much for your generosity and thoughtfulness. We plan on using and enjoying these rugs to the fullest!

  Unfortunately due to covid most of the students are not learning in person and cannot enjoy them right away. There are about 7 of my students that come to school for in person learning twice a week, and even they can't sit in close proximity on these rugs and it was advised not to use them until the pandemic has passed.

  However, I told all of my students about Donors Choose, and they were very happy and grateful knowing that there are generous people out there that care about them. My online students even made thank you signs!

  I cannot wait for the day that I can take off the plastic of of these rugs and share them with my wonderful students. It will be a well deserved gift for all of us.”

• An AWESOME New Library!

  Thank you so much for your kind support! My third graders love their new library...they were so excited to start reading. This meant a lot to us because many of the books were falling apart. Having crisp brand new books to open and read is such a special feeling and I am so glad that these students had the opportunity to know what it feels like. The most exciting part is that many of the books were series that they loved (especially Fly Guy...they can't get enough of it!) They have new titles to write about in their reading journals, to share with one another and to enjoy for the rest of the year during their reading time. Just know that your kindness and generosity has really made an impact on all of us! Much Love!”
