Students will keep weekly online journals. During our center rotation each student will report to the iPad station and make a recording. Students will make recordings of such things as, reading their own writing or explaining their thinking. The online journal will also be used as an assessment tool. For example students may be asked to explain their thinking while working out a math problem. In addition students will participate in projects where they work in groups to create and publish presentations using technology. This technology will help create a more engaging, hands on learning environment. This project will increase students technological knowledge which will help prepare them for the future.
