Thank you so much for all of the "Healthy and Clean Fresh Air" items. My students are encouraged to keep their areas so nice and clean. They walk in the class and make sure to sanitize their areas. I'm so grateful for what you have done. I thank you again. My students are so appreciative and they aren't scared to come to school. The items have given them a sense of confidence and trust. They are eager to be in school now that everything is clean. I'm so happy that you were able to make this happen. Thank you for choosing my students."”

I want to thank everyone that donated to my project and allowed my class and I to get this device. The new MacBook that we have been given has really helped my students learn about something new through technology. Exploring an actual Monarch's is probably something that they would never see because we live in the city. My students now want to learn about more "dangerous" topics using technology. Our next project is going to be on hurricanes. Living in Florida has given us the experience but I want them to learn about what goes on inside the hurricane so that they can understand how dangerous they really are.
I want to thank you again for what you have done for my students. I wanted to make sure that their education doesn't limit them by textbooks. I want them to be exposed to higher level content."”

My scholars live in a low income urban community, and many of their parents do not have the resources to promote their academic growth. Students constantly ask for pencils to borrow to complete their homework assignments and for books to read over the weekend. Due to these limited resources, many of my students entered third grade performing below grade level standards. Despite these obstacles, my students enter the classroom every day so eager to learn challenging math and science concepts. The ability to experience self-discovery and control over your learning is a powerful tool that I do not want my scholars to miss. Although my students come from low-income communities, I believe that their classroom should be just as enriching and stimulating as their high-income peers.
