My students have been identified as Gifted and Talented. They need to be challenged in their thinking and have an understanding of the world around them, as they may become our future leaders. My school services a lower socioeconomic group of students who typically come to school with limited background knowledge and personal experiences. Their ethnicities are primarily Hispanic and African American. As a school, we believe that learning takes place once relationships are established with our students. We believe that all children can learn and with proper teaching they can excel.
