My students are always eager to learn. I have a mixed class of all English and some bilingual kids. They enjoy being introduced to chapter books in my class and I like that they lose the fear of checking out chapter books from the library. My campus administrators are very supportive of any project or programs that we would like to implement. Our principal likes having activities for the students to get involved; such as UIL, dance, sports, and this year I am introducing book club. Our administrative staff have coordinated a community garage sale. Many of our teachers donated clothes and other items to sell. All of our teachers gladly came to work on a Saturday to help. Many of our students and parents were able to take advantage of the items on sale. Several of our staff members bought items for students that did not have money. I am fortunate to work with such kind hearted people everyday.
