Visible Learning!
Funded Sep 30, 2024My students and I wish you a joyous season filled with love and great memories. Once again we want to thank you for your kind donation. The easel is a very practical tool to have. I use it daily to display the lesson teaching point. Now students have easily access to the lesson success criteria because it is written on this movable easel you gifted to our classroom. It serves as an assessment form that keeps them on track of the lesson end goal.
My students truly enjoy using the easel to learn and they feel very grateful to have it. They utilize it to show their learning and I use it to present my lesson goals and model my thinking as necessary. Their gratifying smile describe well how much they love this tool in our classroom.
Our next step is to continue using the easel in practical ways to improve my students' learning experience.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Santana
Write and Wipe!
Funded Sep 29, 2022The dry erase flexible tables have been a great addition to my classroom. My students use these tables every day to show their active involvement work. As a teacher of English Language learners, my lessons are crafted to help students show their understanding of the four domains of the English language. We talk about words, we spell words, we write words, we write sentences and even short paragraphs.
Students look forward to show what they know by writing on these incredibly useful tables. When they first noticed it back in the fall their expression was priceless! They just loved it then and even more now because they get to truly show in an efficient way what they know. These tables are easy and practical to use, they just enjoy showing off their work there. It amazes me and makes all of us happy.
My next steps as an English language teacher is to see my students demonstrating proficiency in the English language. The quick formative work they show on the tables is transferring to the work they do when they are expressing themselves orally and writing.”

Funded Nov 30, 2021I got a call from security guard at my school, "Ms. Santana, there is a delivery for you, you need to come down and get it soon" Ms. X I will be there right now!
The janitor offered to help me because I couldn't do it myself. Then I delivered the news to my students! They all yell, "Thank you Ms. Santana!" I was very surprised how fast the project was funded.
Since we got the materials my students have been able to use them and show their work in many different ways. I conduct quick assessments every day. The dry erase markers allows me to spot who needs help right there! They love it when I say, "three, two, one flash up!" They show their work. After scanning the classroom, we quickly fix it any concept that needs reteaching. I turn on my webcam and we interact together as they correct their work.
We also have been using the blank paper in some many ways. It allows me to personalize my instruction by creating handouts that meet their specific need. Because I can create my own questions and use a printer using the paper, my students have been more successful as completing their work. It promotes a sense of pride and ownership that I just love witnessing.
I've included some pictures of my students using the materials. They look very engaged, excited and happy using the materials we were able to get thanks to you generosity.
Thank you for my heart.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Santana
