  • Help Make our Classroom Complete!

I wanted to express my heartfelt thanks for your generous donation of book bins, mechanical pencils, and bean bags. These items will quickly become an essential part of our classroom, and the students will be been thrilled to use them.

The book bins will help us organize our math materials, making it easier for students to access their math materials. It will also help keep our classroom tidy and efficient. The moment they see the bins, their faces will light up! They will be excited to have a designated space for their material.

The mechanical pencils will be a huge hit as well. They will love the smooth writing experience. The pencils will become an everyday part of their routine, especially during math practice.

The bean bags will also transform our classroom! We will use them during group work and have some options for flexible seating, and they will create a more relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. The students love will sitting on them, they will help them stay engaged and focused during lessons.

Thank you again for making such a positive impact in our classroom.”

  • Supplies, Supplies, Supplies

    Funded Aug 8, 2024

I wanted to share how much your donation of basic school supplies has meant to our classroom! My students are already putting the materials to great use, and the impact has been immediate. From notebooks and pencils to markers and paper, these supplies are helping students stay organized and focused. They're using the notebooks for journaling and math practice, while the markers and colored pencils are bringing creativity to their projects and assignments.

When the students first saw the materials, their faces lit up with excitement! They were thrilled to have the fresh supplies, and it really boosted their enthusiasm for learning. Having new, high-quality tools makes them feel valued and ready to tackle the challenges ahead. It's been amazing to see their energy and eagerness to dive into lessons.

As for next steps, we're working on a math project that will allow students to apply what they've learned using the supplies. They'll be creating visual math posters, solving word problems, and using colored markers to represent their solutions. This hands-on project will help them reinforce their skills in a creative way, and the supplies you've provided will be essential for bringing their ideas to life.”

  • Fun for Being a Hard Worker!

    Funded Sep 29, 2023

Thank you for the generous donation to my classroom. I ordered several items that will be used as incentives for the hard work. Students at Doull are presented with 5 mindsets for learning. They are the following, optimism, integrity, perseverance, empathy, and resilience. Every time a mindset is recognized the student receives points. When enough points have been collected then teh student can select an incentive prize. With your generous donation, I now have incentives the students can work for.

I appreciate you being able to help me get incentives in the hands of the students for their hard work.”

My students are from three different 4th grade classrooms. They were selected from their peers due to low academic math performance and are in a small group setting for math instruction. They are all eager to learn but often have other issues that impede their learning. Some have been diagnosed or have been evaluated and qualified for extra support due to a mix of disabilities and some just need some extra support. The school these students attend is designated a low income school where the free and reduced lunch rate is above 93%.
