They don't always go home to the best conditions and circumstances, which is why they will enjoy the new equipment and soccer program daily.     Thank you so much for donating to "Soccer For The Inner City Youth". You have helped bring an amazing sport like soccer to a low socioeconomic neighborhood in the South Bronx. Our students were mesmerized with the quality of the equipment and could not believe that it was funded through people that share a passion for soccer. The soccer equipment is being used on a daily basis, both in our PE programs, recess, and even our soccer after school program. I write this thank you letter with a great deal of joy because the whole experience of raising money to bring an amazing sport like soccer to my students has been absolutely amazing.

I work as a PE teacher in the south Bronx, district seven. This is the poorest district in the country and over 40% of our students come from shelter homes. After introducing a soccer unit a few weeks ago I noticed that a lot of our students had never played soccer before. They quickly took a liking to this amazing sport. My AP wants me to start an after school soccer program. My students come from very rough homes and will surely benefit from any type of after school program, especially soccer.

About my class
