Our classroom has a diverse group of learners. All of our students are in different places and need different things when it come to writing curriculum. Luckily, we allow for a lot of freedom in what and how students choose to write. We have students who are just starting to learn English, students who have never learned the alphabet before, students who are just starting to read and write, and some students who are already reading beyond kindergarten curriculum. Our students are eager to learn and reading new books is always exciting to them. We hope that the ability to laminate work will allow students to read each others' work. Sharing with the class is another skill we have been working on. Students are so proud to share about themselves. Later in the year we hope students will be able to share stories that they have written with the class!
