  • Ms. M Can You Read Me a Book?

    Funded Oct 20, 2010

Thank you for your generous donation! My students love the listening center and puppets that you have donated to our classroom. They ask to listen to stories on these listening centers everyday. There are 25 students in my class and it is very difficult to read with each child daily. The stories on cd and puppets give the students a great opportunity to listen to stories that they love. With all of the recent budget cuts it is very difficult for teachers to get the materials that they need. Your donation means to much to my students and me.

Thank you for your generous donations, we a grateful to have such caring people in our community!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Minerva

  • Not On The Floor Again!!!

    Funded May 20, 2010

The first thing that anyone sees when they walk into my classroom is the beautiful carpet that you have made possible for my class to have. The carpet has made a big difference in my teaching, and the children's learning. The students love coming to the carpet to learn and they are very comfortable on the carpet. The children each have a letter to sit on so they are not squashed next teach other. The comfortable atmosphere has made learning fun and enjoyable. In my previous years teaching, I could never afford a carpet like the one I have now. The children would be so close together and distract each other. Now they have plenty of room and they are so comfortable.

This carpet is a major asset to our classroom it provides comfort for the children and great educational purpose (we can play games on it too). Thank You again for this beautiful carpet.”

  • There is No Money in Budget for Creativity

    Funded Dec 14, 2009

I want to start off saying that I greatly appreciate your donation to my classroom. Your donation made such a wonderful impact to my classroom. There is no money in schools for things such a art supplies and fun stuff. These art supplies really boost The student's confidence. After they finish a project they really feel like they have succeeded at something. I am so thankful for your donation. These supplies will allow my class to make countless art projects. When our nonfiction unit comes up for reading and writing we will use these supplies to enhance our learning.

Children need to be well rounded and be able to express their creativity and because of your generous donation they are no able to do this. The students are so excited to use the supplies, all they want to do is create new projects, and because of you this is possible. Thank you again!”

  • What is Kindergarten without a kitchen?

    Funded Dec 6, 2009

First of all I can not thank you enough for the generous donation that you have given to my classroom. In kindergarten, there is very little time for dramatic play and every little time for the children to express themselves and have fun. In my kindergarten class there was a kitchen set that was 30 years old. I tried so hard t fix it up, but it was old and broken. This was a shame because it was the most popular center that the children wanted to go to. Ever since the children got the new center they have been ecstatic. They have been creating menus, playing house, acting out their favorite books, and most importantly, having fun.

Thank you so much for your donation. It has truly impacted my student's lives in more ways than one. kind hearted people like you make this world, and our schools a better. Thank you once again on behalf on myself and my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Minerva

  • There Are Not Enough Hours in the Day! But We Can.....

    Funded Aug 8, 2009

My class and I are truly grateful for your generous donations to our classroom. The students, parents, and administration where thrilled with all of the books and materials you have donated to our classroom. Getting The materials that you need to run a successful classroom are very difficult to acquire. The cost of being teacher is very expensive these days. It take a lot of materials to keep the students engaged and learning actively. Your foundation has provided me with materials the necessary materials for em to teach the students about the weather, the planets, friendship, families and more. I can not thank your foundation enough for the generous gifts. I thoroughly explained to my school community my gratitude to your foundation.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Minerva
