Our under-achieving school is made up of close to 500 students, 90% of those are on free/reduced lunch. And close to 50% of them are English Language Learners. I teach 26 high energy third graders that speak 13 different langauges every day! Due to low income and high poverty, my students are under-prepared for the real world. It is my job to make them 21st century learners.
