Funded Mar 27, 2018When asked to write an impact letter of how these materials will affect your classroom it is such an overwhelming task. My students and I will use the resources to like a community that has the necessities to learn. The current class rule when it comes to missing material is to give students whatever I can afford, usually golf pencils with no eraser or something of the sort.
Not any more. Students first noticed the boxes of supplies but assumed it had nothing to do with them, as most things around here go. As I invited a few students to come open the boxes, suspenseful silence filled the air. "Miss. Who's that stuff for?", they asked. Imagine the looks on their faces when they saw brand new markers, folders, paper clips, graph paper, and A WORKING STAPLER.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Butler
