    We are ever so grateful for the performance outfits that you have provided us. These outfits that you have graciously donated to us have allowed for our performers to look uniformed and have enabled us to perform wonderfully all the while looking professional and stylish. Aside from this, the outfits fit our performers perfectly and we have put them to good use by utilizing them in recent events that we have performed in. Again, we thank you for your kindness, it is very much appreciated. The students were able to be prepared without worrying about how they were going to purchase their outfits. This was a great stress reliever for everyone involved. We danced to the best of our ability with confidence and gave an awesome presentation.”

  • Future Stars Dancers

    The technology we are using from the laptop that was donated has been extremely beneficial. We use the laptop to edit the music that we need for our showcases, class warm ups, and any other activities that we participate in. Being able to edit and play the music teaches the kids about musicality and how to edit the music themselves. They have even choreographed and edited their own pieces for our spring and winter showcase.

    One of the products we received were leather jazz shoes. The jazz shoes helped the students' technique by preventing them from slipping. They were able to turn better and the choreography looked clean. Students were able to point their feet which is an essential part of our training to improve our technique. They looked very prepared and they loved how their costumes looked, the jazz shoes matched the costume and it looked very put together. The students really got into character because they were able to dance better and were very confident in their costume.

    We also received combat dance boots. The boots were used in our showcases. They really brought together our outfits and made us stand out. The dancers felt extremely comfortable and confident wearing the boots. The dance came together very nicely and looked complete. The students were very happy with all of the items that were donated.”

The impact of the Pandemic has affected many of the families at my school. Parents are struggling to make ends meet since many of them have lost their jobs and do not have any internet at home. My students are missing out on participating in artistic events because their parents simply cannot afford the extra expense. I am looking to provide my students with the opportunity to participate in an afterschool activity and train them in hopes of achieving college scholarships when they graduate. Students will be able to attend competitions and represent their school in a positive way. They will also be seen as role models for their peers

About my class
