This classroom project was brought to life by State Farm and 4 other donors.Increasing Science Education through Technology; One student at a time.
Funded Oct 10, 2016Thank you for supplying us with the gift of our IPad Mini's. My students could not believe that our project was funded. Some of our students have technology at home, via a parent computer or laptop in some cases. My students being able to use an ipad to scan QR Codes, that take them to Science websites and dig deeper into a topic, providing the rigor that my students need to critical to their success on the upcoming tests in roughly 60 days.
My students were asking if they could download reading apps, and even their favorite educational game to play once they were done with their work. I advised my student that they could provide me with a list of applications and I would evaluate their effectiveness and level of educational importance.
My students and I want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

This classroom project was brought to life by The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation and one other donor.Just Flipping Science
Funded Oct 13, 2015Thank you for allowing me to assist my students with this wonderful donation. The impact that has been made is tremendous. My students have more access to utilizing program preparatory programs, to ready them for their End of Course Tests. Students have an opportunity to work on practice work when they are not home or even when we are not in the classroom. We are more mobile with your donation, which means, we are able to extend our classroom to the out of doors, and still be connected to our school Internet.
The students are able to take more of an interest in their education, students know that they can come early, stay late, and even come on Saturday's and work and get extra assistance. My students feel as if they have more of an opportunity to fully complete and work through their understanding of Science. The students enjoy the ability to use their flash drive, since this donation has a usb port, students can backup their work.
We are so humbled and graciously hope that this note of impact and gratitude finds its way to you, to let you know just how much we appreciate the donation and how it is changing the lives of my science students.”
