  • Books to Fill my Students' Home Libraries!

    Thank you so much for all of your support! Ly firsties got lots of reading material to have at home. You will never know the impact you made on those children. You are the best!!

    Reading can look like many things. For my first graders, they were remote. These books allowed them to have printed texts at their disposal and they were able to enjoy them with their family. We also had silent reading time over a Google meet. Even though we couldn't be together, we still shared our love of reading.

My students spend a large amount of time on the computer since they learn remotely. I would love for them to have some screen-free time with books that will make them smile and feel proud of all of the work they have been doing. I would love to see the joy they will get from receiving books that they can keep and treasure forever. This will help them on their academic journey. We share books as a class and I would love for them to have them on their own.
