My students are children who have made mistakes in their home school. For example, physical aggression towards other students and staff, weapon possession, drug/alcohol usage and possession, deface of properties and non-compliance which include verbal assaults, cutting classes and other level suspensions. My students have been excluded from their home schools for twenty five days or more. It is at this time they are enrolled in C.H.O.I.C.E. Academy to continue their education to discourage them from dropping out of school. While at C.H.O.I.C.E. Academy we focus on each individual student's academic performance and self-development. At C.H.O.I.C.E. Academy we pride ourselves with an aggressive academic component along with our mental health component. This is the key to success of every student who is referred and enrolled. Our goal is to offer a structured academic and self-development program that prepares students for successful re-entry to their home schools and community.
