Technology During a Pandemic
Funded Apr 24, 2021Thank you so much for your generous donation. With your donation you have made it possible to reach the students remotely in so many ways. We can now stream live meets with ease. We can also share content and video to help with learning.
For students who are in school, they can use the technology to meet with providers to access their remote services.
This technology is not only helpful during the pandemic but will also be used to allow students other means of access when in school. They can type their writing assignments, listen to stories, watch videos on topics being taught and complete research.
This computer will be used for many years to come and students will benefit (and already have benefited) greatly.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Bradley
Technology Is Important!
Funded Mar 9, 2016Words can not even begin to express the gratitude that I have for your generous donation to my classroom. The technology that you have donated has helped many students on a daily basis. Students use this technology to type their drafts, especially for those students who have difficulty with physically writing. Other have used the technology to publish their writing piece and research for their wide range of social studies topics. We have also used the technology to listen to books online as well as help with translation for students who are brand new to this country and have difficulty communicating. These uses for the technology are just the icing on the cake.
Students LOVE to work with computers and tablets both online and offline and your generous donation has already peaked the interest in many students. They are eager to begin writing workshop. They are excited to continue research for their topics. They love to listen to books online. The whole experience of using this technology is exciting for all students. I can not even begin to explain their enthusiasm. For many, this is their only opportunity to work with technology and I thank you for allowing them to have this opportunity.
With donors like you, classrooms across the United States are one step closer to making dreams come true!”

Timing is Everything!
Funded Dec 26, 2013We are so excited that you have chosen to fund our project! It is a dream come true for both my students and myself. These timers will provide years of enjoyment to help the students stay on track and focused for both this year's class as well as classes for many years to come.
These timers were chosen to help my students stay focused on their task and completely their work in a timely manor. When they are not wasting time, more learning happens!
Words can't express how grateful we are that you have funded our project. May your lives be blessed with many things, as you have blessed ours.”

Copy Cats
Funded Dec 28, 2010Words can not express how grateful we are for your generous donation. The money you have donated toward the purchase of the copy machine/printer is used on a daily basis.
Since the economic downfall it has become almost impossible to get copies made. This printer allows us to meet the needs of all our students in our inclusion class by easily being able to differentiate materials to fit their educational needs on the spot. This copy machine/printer also saves precious class time by being able to print the homework for the students. This gives us more time to learn. Every minute counts!
None of this is possible without donors like you.”

Funded Dec 16, 2010Words can not express how grateful we are for your generous donation to our classroom. The i pod touch that you have donated is used every day. Since our classroom is made up of general education students and special education students, who are also English Language Learners, there is a wide variety in how we learn. These i pods have made it possible for struggling readers to be able to read and listen to their favorite books.
Since public schools are facing hard times, it is getting harder to get a variety of books in our classrooms. This i pod touch allowed us to download audio for books that we already have in our classroom. Being able to do this has cut costs significantly and allows all students to have an opportunity to grow as readers.
None of this would be possible without donors like you.”

Funded Oct 13, 2009I am writing to say Thank You. The books you have donated to our classroom are used every single day. We used them as read alouds, during conferences and during independent reading. They have helped our students with fluency, decoding and to grow as a reader all around.
With the current condition of the economy and the anticipated budget cuts for schools, the students had an opportunity they would have never had otherwise thanks to you. Literacy is one of the most important stepping stones for young children, thank you for contributing to that.
Without donors like you, many classrooms will go without.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Bradley
