Learn and Play in PreK!
Funded Feb 2, 2024Thank you again for donating these learning materials to my students. My PreK students love building, exploring, and creating with different materials throughout the day. The legos, story building kits, playdough and sand will allow us to increase our stem skills, provide sensory experiences and strengthen our math and literacy skills. We will use these materials in our play-based learning curriculum. These materials encourages teamwork, collaboration, and improves creativity as well as strengthen literacy, math and science science concepts through sequencing and develop vocabulary skills. Fine motor and social skills will also improve because these materials will provide great opportunities for social engagement and interaction”

Funded Nov 30, 2022Thank you so much for your generosity to my classroom. My big world subscription allows my students to learn about various monthly topics throughout the year. My Big World incorporates movement, song, discussion and hands-on investigations. They love to see what the new magazine will be about and they like to use the digital component to watch the videos that go along with the magazine. By using the magazine it helps promote students' content knowledge, vocabulary, language and social skills. Thank you again and we wish you all a happy holiday season!”

Funded Oct 20, 2022Thank you all so much for your generous donation of gingerbread houses to my classroom. As we completed our unit study on buildings this was the perfect culminating activity of our weeks long investigations on how buildings are made, what materials they use and who works on buildings. Not only did this tie into our theme but it also allowed for some holiday joy to my students. They were so excited to see all the gingerbread houses and their creativity was a joy to watch. We hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!”

Funded Mar 3, 2015Thank you all so much for your very generous donations! Each one of you have made an impact in my student's lives and our gratitude is overwhelming. My students were so excited when we received our new materials. They love using the new painting sets, the tree doll house and our new books to use in our guided reading groups! In pre-k we focus on establishing appropriate interactions with our peers and these resources help us with sharing, taking turns, dramatic play and how to communicate with others.
We love you each so much! Thank you xoxo”

Playing and Learning!
Funded Oct 21, 2014Thank you so much for your generous donations to my classroom! My students were so excited to learn of their new play equipment. The whole purpose of this project was to allow my students to use these items not only for play but to learn from them as well. They are able to build on their social skills, fine motor, problem solving and many other different areas. This project has allowed me to give my students the resources needed to find the way that each of them learn the best. Due to your compassion and dedication to children they now believe that there are beautiful people out there like you who care about them and want them to become the most successful people they can be! Our hearts are filled with thanks!”
