Let's Learn Together!
Funded Aug 19, 2023Thank you for your donation to our classroom. When students saw the learning materials, they were very excited. They could not wait to get started.
When students discovered the science and social studies kits their excitement grew. Students were learning about plants at the time. The seeds and plants science kit allowed students to see what they were learning. The science kits are possibly the students favorite materials. The Power Pen Learning Cards have been a huge success in our classroom learning stations/centers. Students can work with a partner or independently to practice learning skills. This helps with learning and social skills. Soon students will start a project with one of the Social Studies Kits.
Thank you again for your donation. The impact is great for my students. These materials allow for a better overall learning experience.”

This classroom project was brought to life by The State of Oklahoma.Read, Explore, and Investigate!
Funded Oct 25, 2018The resources received have made a huge impact on learning in my classroom. Students can't wait to find out new information in their Super Science Magazines. My students are very curious in nature and love to read the up to date information. Then, they often ask for help in the library to find books with more information about certain topics. It has really helped motivate students to keep learning even after the lesson has been completed.
Some of the magazines were not available once the project was completed, so I was given the opportunity to choose other resources for my classroom. I chose a multiple skill learning game, intensive main idea reading practice, and intensive inference reading practice. These items are high-interest and involve science or social studies passages to help struggling students advance their reading skills. The students loved each of these items and constantly ask if we can use them during small group time.
Thank you for helping my students enjoy learning. Especially since it is helping motivate them beyond the classroom. Seeing their excitement for learning is a wonderful experience.”

Funded Nov 10, 2015Thank you for your generous donation to our classroom. The S.T.E.M. kits have become a favorite activity for my students. They get excited for each new S.T.E.M. activity as it is presented to them. These activities allow students to think, design, and use problem solving skills. Each kit also allows students to explore possible jobs opportunities for the future. My students are always amazed that people actually get to do similar activities for a living. It has been a nice way to introduce real life problem solving skills to all of my students. Thank you again for taking the time and making such a generous donation to our classroom.”

Shhhh! I'm Working
Funded Nov 10, 2015Thank you for your generous donation to our classroom. My students were very excited to see the boxes arrive with their new privacy partitions inside them. They could not wait for me to open the boxes. Now students are able to focus on individual work without becoming distracted by others. These privacy partitions allow students to focus on meeting goals, standards, and other individual projects every day. They also love the bright green color of the patricians. Thank you again for taking the time out of your day to make such a generous donation to our classroom.”

Drop Everything And Listen!
Funded Oct 6, 2014My students were super excited about their new listening center materials. Since receiving our stereo and headphones, students have been able to enjoy listening to books. They also have enjoyed working privately at computer centers. This allows for positive learning to occur in our classroom. My students use the listening station to listen to books from many different genres. Then, we do writing activities with the story. My students who are working on computers get to work quietly now without being interrupted. This allows for maximum learning to occur. Thank you so much for making our learning center more successful with your generosity.”

Read All About It! Science and Social Studies
Funded Aug 25, 2014I just wanted to say thank you again for the wonderful resource you provided my classroom. Upon arrival, my students were excited about our new Scholastic News and Science Spin magazines. They love seeing the bright colors and children in the magazines.
My students are using these magazines to learn more information about subjects. We then take our new knowledge to the library and seek more information about topics. It has made my students more interested in the world around them. Students are now excited to hear it is science or social studies time.
Overall this resource has helped me teach my students science and social studies. I even get excited that it is science and social studies time. It makes students want to read and explore new ideas and topics. This was all made possible because of your generous donation.”
