I serve students, in grades K-8, with special needs. These students have a wide range of abilities and learning styles. Some students need to learn kinesthetically using hands on activities. Other students are auditory learners and learn by listening to something. Still others are visual learners and learn my watching or seeing something. Our school is a public charter school that challenges students to reach their full potential. Even though our school uses an advanced curriculum to challenge our students, we have students that may need a little bit of extra support to be successful in the classroom. These students are motivated learners that require a "different" way to learn what they need to learn. Although my students may find a different path to follow, the end goal of success remains the same.
