Today's students need to learn more than the alphabet and numbers, they also need to know about the world of technology. My classroom has one desktop computer for all 18 students to share. An iPad would give my students more ways or learn about the world of technology. Some students can use the iPad to work on STEM projects. Some students will be able to easily navigate educational apps to improve early literacy skills. All my students would be able to read or follow along with a read aloud. These students deserve the opportunity to have technology in their hands.
