Small Group Magic
Funded Sep 11, 2023My students are so thrilled and excited to use our new resources that you helped to fund! We use our stools, prizes, and large sticky posters daily to help with our whole group and small group instruction. I cannot tell you how excited the students become when it is small group time, and they get a chance to sit on the wobble stools!
Now that we have these resources, we have been able to truly begin our small group sessions. Lately we have been using these resources to complete a research project related to how countries celebrate Christmas Around the World! We will continue to utilize these materials for the rest of the year! Thank you again so much for your generosity!”

Funded Oct 4, 2014My name is Kristen Todd, and I teach a wonderful group of Kindergartners this year. There are 15 students in our class, but there are several other classes that I know will benefit from your generosity as well. When we found out that our grant had been funded by you, we were in absolute shock! We were so surprised and grateful, and when the boxes were delivered to our classroom and opened to reveal the Phonological/Phonics games inside, the children referred to you as Santa because you brought us presents!
We have used some of the games as whole group activities, but most of the games are used during small group/center time for further instruction of PASS objectives or areas they are struggling with. The students just can't get enough of them either (especially the file folder games)! We have been studying beginning and ending sounds in the last two weeks, and they have shown so much interest in the activities because they are fun and engaging. Each game can also be modified slightly depending on the group I am working with as well. I can throw in other skills along with the ones the games focus on to create extra learning gains.
I have seen so much growth due in part to these games, and we are so thankful to you for making our dream come true. The students are extremely happy with them, and so am I. Thank you again so much!”
