I currently work with 90 students who based on school and district data, are classified as below level readers and not making acceptable yearly gains. They are hard working, eager to learn and show up each day willing to do their best. However, traditional whole group instruction does not meet their learning style and they are now currently considered below level. They do however seem to prosper in smaller intensive guided groups, which is what I provide. The school itself is a Title 1 site, that is located on the outskirts of a large city.
