I teach at a school where over half of our students receive free/reduced lunch. Many of our students come from extreme poverty, broken homes, and have little to no support when it comes to their education. It is extremely hard to learn when school you do not have the essentials such as clean and/or appropriate clothes, good hygiene and food. My goal is to help my third graders in any way possible to that they come to know learning is something fun, important and most of all, something that they CAN do! I will be their biggest supporter to help them succeed!
