I'll be teaching AP Statistics for the first time this fall. While preparing to teach the course, I'm learning that the course and the AP exam frequently require students to describe distributions of data, analyze the validity of research studies, and make inferences based on evidence. Graphing calculators help students perform complicated procedures in a fraction of the time, freeing their brains to focus on these important concepts. Graphing calculators are powerful tools whose price tag makes it difficult for students and families at my school to afford. This set of calculators is an investment that will impact new classes of students for years to come. By donating, you'll help provide TI-84 graphing calculators for students to use in class and to check out for home use as needed. You'll be handing students a powerful tool that will help them access higher-level ideas in a college-level course. They will be very appreciative of the tool during the AP Exam in May. I can't thank you enough for your support.
