I work in Southeast Washington, D.C. in a pre-K through 8th grade school where many of the students come from low-income families. My students come to school each day with smiling faces eager to learn and hungry for books. This past year, I have worked hard to help my students understand the importance of becoming a fluent reader and the opportunities it will afford you later in life. They devour the books and reading comprehension resources in our classroom but they are hungry for more!

About my class
