Our new science core includes ecosystems. I am hoping to build a stronger library of science texts to help teach this concept to my students. Additionally, I would like to get a class set of Dicken's A Christmas Carol for my students. In years past I have used a play adaptation of A Christmas Carol, however, I feel it important for the students to have access to the actual text as Dicken's wrote it. Spending time with the more complex text will stretch and prepare them for middle school. I also want my students to become familiar with classic literature that emphasizes citizenship, honor, and integrity.
