Thank you so much for your generosity in funding this project. I couldn't believe my eyes when I read the email stating that it was fully funded and in just a matter of few days! Your notes of kindness and support to my students and myself are an encouragement to this veteran educator. My students will be so excited and happy to see and use the new materials once they arrive. I can't wait to see how much time we will have for math because we will be able to access materials easier and faster.”

This classroom project was brought to life by the estate of Dorothea Lutz and 9 other donors.

Our new mathematics curriculum consists of many manipulatives and materials for math centers to use during daily instruction. The multicolored storage unit will allow students to retrieve and store the materials necessary to work independently, with a partner or in a small group. With Seat Sacks students from both classes can keep their individual materials and supplies separate from others while providing quick and easy access for use throughout the school day. As a result, students will become more independent and responsible in daily routines. This will also allow more time for large and small group instruction which will help increase academic achievement.
