My students are an energetic group of fourth graders who learn to love reading. I believe that the more high quality literature that I can put in their hands the better they will feel about themselves and what they can achieve. We have students ranging from first grade reading levels to fifth grade reading levels so we are a differentiated classroom. We are also a whole brain teaching classroom where students are encouraged to make meaningful connections to each other and to their class work.
