Funded Jan 9, 2025It has been amazing seeing my third graders who look forward to earning their turn sitting on the wobble chairs. With these wobble chairs, my students know that taking turns is important in learning to share. Best of all we have a Wheel Name we use to see who gets the chair for the day.
My students were static when they received these chairs, I have seen a difference when they sit on them and learn in class. When students don't like to participate because they don't like being wrong. However, when we spin the Wheel Name, they look forward to answering, as they will be placed in a second drawing to get an opportunity to sit on that chair wherever they are in class.
I have students who are concerned with the current status of our state and how some are dealing with fears of losing their homes. I keep reassuring my students that they are safe in school and we will get through rough times no matter what happens.
This is why I am truly grateful for your generosity.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Zwick
