As I enter my third year of teaching, I continue to be humbled by the teaching experience. My students continuously surprise me with their empathy for others and their resilience to overcome life challenges. Everyday I am greeted with a big smile and enthusiasm for learning. They love to be creative and explore new concepts in science. They ask for challenging math problems because it is fun to try something that is hard. It is even better when they see they can do something they thought they could not do. They are the reason I became a teacher and they give me a great sense of joy. I feel a great responsibility to do everything I can to help these students become successful and to develop a love of learning. Your support means the world to my students and myself. Thank you for believing in us and the work we do.
