Multiple copies of Gabriel García Márquez's Chronicle of a Death Foretold and Albert Camus' The Stranger will benefit my senior IB World Literature II students immeasurably. The students will be able to have their own copies of the books to borrow from the classroom and will be able to read them both at the same time instead of sharing with their classmates and to read them in a comparative context. This will also allow them to better prepare for their IB exams at the end of the school year. Exposure to these two Nobel Prize winning authors will expand my students' understanding and appreciation of literature.
