My school is a Title , Pre-K-8 school located in Boro Park Brooklyn, New York. The school has a large diverse population of many ethnicity's. English Language Learners and students with disabilities. All the students within my class rely on the tools and fundamentals that I teach them because unfortunately at home them have none. With the use of books, cds and tablets the students will be able to gain more knowledge with many different visuals and hands on manipulative's to teach the ESL and students with disabilities. It is always better to gain their attention with something other than just a book. Sometimes a visual , a game or books capture their attention better than basic reading out of a book. I have noticed that when working with this group lots of technology and cds help the students learn the language and start to read and gain fluency faster.
