  • Creative Kinders

    Thank you so much for your incredible generosity! My students are using their new resources in their daily "Brain Bins". This gives them the opportunity to be creative through play!

    When my students first saw their items, their eyes lit up and they were filled with excitement. Brain Bins are sitting out for them when they enter the classroom each day, and I feel that these new resources has helped with getting my students to class on time, as they can't wait t see which Brain Bin they will be working with!

    My students will continue to use these resources for the reminder of the school year. Their creativity and excitement has been so wonderful to see. Thank you again!”

  • Makey Makey - Make Me an Engineer!

    Thank you so very much for donating to my class project! My students are truly enjoying learning about the engineering process through our Makey-Makey kits. Your gift will enhance my student's learning, as well as create memorable experiences for them.

  • Technology for 2nd Grade

    Thank you so much for funding my technology project! Our class iPad has proved to be very useful and fun for our class. I recently attended a Leader in Me Symposium and was able to use the iPad for various programs offered, so that I could share my learning experiences with my colleagues. In addition to my use, my students have used the iPad to make commercials for a social studies project, play various learning games, read books, and we are in the process of recording book reviews. We have also used the iPad and apps for various class pictures, including making ourselves look 100 years old for the 100th day of school!

My kindergartners come from diverse backgrounds and do not often have access to technology at home. Students come to school eager and wanting to learn and are excited to use the limited technology our school has. As our world quickly becomes more technologically advanced, it is of the utmost importance to prepare our students to use technology.
