This year I will be teaching second grade. I often refer to my students affectionately as "my kids." Once they set foot in my classroom, they become a part of my family. My school is based on this principle, kids are here to learn and sometimes that means they learn how special and loved they really are. I teach a range of academic levels, and my students come from a variety of backgrounds with a variety of interests.
