Hands-on Math
Funded Aug 13, 2022Thank you so much for the classroom resources. The students have really enjoyed using the Calendar Math. Each week a new student is chosen to be the calendar person. Their responsibility for the week is to manage all information the calendar provides for a week. They are so excited to hear their names called so that they can do that job. The students have also enjoyed using the math puzzles to reinforce number skills. They look forward to finishing their work and going to the math center..”

Funded Jul 29, 2022My students have been using the tablets and docking stations has a Math Center. They are the perfect size for our little ones. We have a weekly rotating schedule where students take turns using the tablets. They get so excited when it their turn! The students are allowed to go to the Math Center once they have completed their classwork. You better believe that that week they don't waste any time talking or getting off task. The students work on their lessons on IXL or Sumdog which they enjoy very much.”

Super Scientist
Funded Jul 22, 2022I am so excited to share with you the impact the donations of the lab coats, goggles and clip boards have impacted our classroom. The student get so excited each time I say "It's Science Time!" They can't wait to put on their lab coats and goggles and turn into "Scientist". Believe it or not they are only in Kindergarten but they are learning all about the scientific method. We have done various labs in the classroom using our donations but the lab they liked the most was called the Candy Corn Experiment. Students had to predict whether their candy corn would float, sink or dissolve in three different forms of liquid which were hot water, vinegar or soda. The students used their clipboards to clip their worksheet where they would record their results. The Kindergarteners had so much fun conducting the experiment that they couldn't wait to get home to tell their parents. Thank you again for your generous donation!”
