With a growing ELL population, my school strives to make all students feel at home and successful. For the first time in our school's history, they have developed a sheltered classroom for new language learners to get the support they need. I will be teaching a class of 25 English Language Learners. As a teacher in this very welcoming environment, I want to reach out to parents and provide additional opportunities for support at home. Every child loves to curl up and read a story before bed, building a connection with their family and a passion for reading. This take home library will make that possible.
