Read, Set, READ!!!
Funded Feb 21, 2017Thank you so much for your wonderful donation to our classroom. Our students are really enjoying using the bean bag chairs, magnetic letters and pocket charts.
The students use the pocket charts daily. They are used on top of our writing center in order to to help the students learn to spell words and write numbers. The students also love using them because they can pick them up and take them to a table to practice writing during whole group time. I also use them to display vocabulary words for the students to start recognizing. The magnetic letters have been used to practice rhyming words during morning meeting. The bean bag chairs have been a favorite item of the kids this year. They love to relax in the reading centers and share a book together while sitting in them.
Thanks again so much for your generous donations. We are so thankful to have these items in our class and it is thanks to wonderful donors. We are so excited to have such a happy and useful learning environment.”

Help Us Improve Our Learning Environment
Funded Jul 8, 2016Dear Donors,
Thank you so much of donating to our class. My class consists of 20 amazing students who are all loving and enjoying their new class rug and bean bag chairs. This is my first year teaching in a CD (preschool) classroom and I loved being able to start my first day with a great welcoming circle on our brand new rug. I also had one student who had a tough time separating from their parents and the bean bag chair was a great comfort to her that first day.
When my students first came in you could tell the new rug was welcoming and they love trying to name all the letters on the carpet. The students enjoy using the bean bag chairs to read in or love it as a special place to sit if they are doing an extra great job listening.
Thank you again so much for all your help in getting our class these awesome new materials. We are forever thankful!!”

Funded Aug 25, 2014We can not thank you enough for your generous donations for our classroom seat sacks! The students are so happy to have a place of their own to store their personal items. They all talked about how excited they were and thankful to all of you for helping them.
The students have found a variety of uses for the seat sacks. The original intention was to use them to store their crayons and writing folders. The students have also been able to use their seat sacks for science folders, math books, and their library books.
The seat sacks have been a great organizational tool for the students, as well as an instructional tool. The time it saves to take passing out each of these items, increases time on instruction and the students are able to accomplish so much more during each lesson!
Thank you again so much!”
