  • Functional Ceramic Lamps

    Funded May 16, 2024

With your generous donations, my project has been fully funded as of today. I can’t thank you enough for taking the time and resources to support this new project of functional lamps for the advanced class. Enrollment in ceramics and sculpture classes has grown quite a bit. It’s wonderful to have such enthusiastic students and supportive adults who understand the importance of art education! Feel free to follow our work on instagram: ms.brockmann.art.students.”

  • Ceramics & Painting

    Funded Sep 24, 2021

With your financial support, my students have been able to use supplies they usually would not have access to. Your donation assisted four ceramics classes and two intermediate art classes with a total of 170 students.

Ceramics classes are able to use the new clay tools for sculpting both small and large works. The tools helped in creating small head sculptures, coil vessels, and slab tiles with subtractive sculpting. Intermediate art students were able to paint on sturdy canvas boards to create advanced level paintings with excellent presentation.

Thank you so much for your continued support!”

  • Virtual Sculpting Options

    Funded Jan 18, 2021

through your generous support, my students have been able to pursue their creative interests, have time away from computer screens with hands-on learning, and sustain their emotional and educational well-being. My Beginning Sculpture/Ceramics students have been busy learning basic sculpting techniques, doing design work with sgraffito in clay, bas-relief with cardboard, and repousse with aluminum tooling. While distance learning has required many adaptations, your contribution to my students' supply packages have made a vital difference. I deeply appreciation your awareness and donation!”

  • Sculpture Supplies for High School Students

    Funded Oct 8, 2020

in appreciation of your generous donation to my student project, I'd like to share how you have impacted my students during distance learning this spring. In February, my students were able to get the supplies at a drive through pick-up or delivery. My Beginning Ceramics/Sculpture class have been exploring basic sculpting techniques and sgraffito in clay. In the coming months, they will also be creating bas-relief sculptures with cardboard and repoussé with aluminum tooling.

While distance learning has required many adaptations, students are still able to further their creative pursuits and build a foundation for further work in sculpture. This has been made possible through your understanding of the importance of arts education and thoughtful contributions of support.”

    Ms. Brockmann

  • Art Supplies for Classroom Teachers

    Funded Jul 26, 2014

Hello again dear art enthusiasts! With budget restrictions, it is a treat to have some basic art supplies in the office for our classroom teachers. Many teachers have used them for classroom projects to compliment their existing lesson plans. A couple of student clubs were also able to use the paints to create posters for their causes. With six months left in the school year, more teachers will be able to let their student's creativity shine with these supplies. Thank you again for your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Brockmann

In ceramics/sculpture class, students use hands-on materials daily. Distance learning will require more flexibility while ensuring students reach learning targets. My goal is to create supply kits for 100 students so they can experience a varied and robust class as they normally would in the building. Hands-on materials sculpture materials will enable students to continue learning and have creative alternatives to so much screen time. Many families cannot afford to donate to the class fee. The supplies would allow students to complete sculpture assignments with less financial pressure during distance learning.
