Hear Us Out!
Funded Mar 27, 2018Thank you so much for supporting our class! We have been using the headphones everyday since we received them!
A goal of Brophy Elementary school is to strategically integrate technology into our classrooms. Many of our students do not have access to technology at home. In order to prepare our students for a world filled with technology, we believe it is our responsibility to teach our students how to successfully use technology as a resource for learning. In order to use all the amazing educational software our district issued chromebooks offer, students need access to headphones.
The class set of headphones we received have been such a great addition to our classroom. They have allowed for students to use many different programs on the chromebook with fidelity. Students have been able to use online reading and math programs to strengthen their content knowledge. These programs are designed to instruct each student at their independent level. Students are given tasks that challenge them and help them grow as readers and mathematicians.
The headphones have been a hit with my whole class! Each student has really enjoyed getting to work independently on different computer programs. The headphones have allowed them all to experience learning through technology.
Thank you again for your generous donation. The children of room 201 really appreciate your support!”

Document Camera and Projector
Funded Jul 15, 2014Thank you so much for donating to my classroom project. My students truly have benefited from the use of our document camera. Everyday we use the document camera and projector in different and unique ways.
My students love being able to share their work with each other using the projector. It is a great tool for helping to explain tasks and projects for students. Each day they are able to observe before doing. This allows me to present clear objectives and outlines for expectations for student work. As we work each day to increase our students ability to think critically having a tool that allows the class to work together and cooperatively has been essential.
Again, thank you so much for your generous donation. I am so lucky to be supported by so many amazing people!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Dutcher
