We are in need of thirty headphones, so that students will be able to use computers in the classroom without distractions or distracting others. Students will use the Chromebooks in partnerships, independently, and in small groups to explore bookmarked sites from the Internet which will help deepen their understanding of reading and math content, use educational apps to supplement their learning in class, and do internet research and exploration for class projects. The headphones will enable us to use the computers effectively in the busy classroom setting. Technology can be such a powerful tool in the classroom! It can open students’ eyes to the outside world through images, videos, communication tools, and more! It is empowering for students as they take charge of their learning experiences. I am so excited to see my students motivated and engaged on a whole new level, through the use of technology! This project will absolutely make a difference in students' lives!

About my class
